It's back! The Big Book Sale, hosted by the Friends of the Invermere Public Library, will be held on Saturday, July 14th, 2012.

Be sure to mark the date on your calendar for this popular book-lover event. Donations of gently used books will be accepted up until July 11th, 2012 and can be dropped off at the library during open hours.
Try something new! Borrow an e-Reader.
Borrow a Kobo e-Reader today from the library and give e-reading a try. Invermere Public Library patrons also have access to the provincial e-book lending website. There are over 10,000 e-book titles to choose from and they can be borrowed for 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks. Come in for more details about e-Reading at the library.
Adventure Club for students in Gr. 5-7
Join us on Wednesday, May 23rd from 3:30 to 5:00 PM for our wind-up of Adventure Club for the school year, "Weird and Wonderful Science". Be prepared to conduct some amazing experiments! This event is FREE but pre-registration is required. Adventure Club will resume in the fall. Contact the library to register and for more information about the program.

One Book One Kootenay Regional Book Club
The 2012 OBOK finalists have been selected and their books are now available at the Invermere Library. Three great Kootenay authors are vying for your vote to be the top selection for this year.
